It is a puzzle that physicians often are asked to
piece together, in order to try to heal a patient.
A fictitious middle-aged overweight man sees a
series of physicians as he moves slowly toward
recovery. The story serves to illustrate the useful
role played by each physician in spite of the frustrating
nature of the medical problem.
